The Craft of the Summit
Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand offers stunning cycling routes: from flat roads through villages and rice paddies to steep, challenging mountain climbs in the surrounding hills. At its heart is Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest peak. This assignment aimed to capture the feel of the journey to Doi Inthanon and Doi Suthep, and document the people involved in planning the route, evoking adventure and a strong sense of place.
